I was thrilled to be chosen as Sian and Kev’s wedding photographer for their Oldwalls Gower wedding in Wales. The previous year I shot Sian’s friends’, Sian & Sean’s wedding at Oldwalls’ sister venue, Fairyhill. They then recommended me so once again I headed off to South Wales for another awesome wedding!

The Gower is a such a lovely part of the UK so I was excited to head over for Sian and Kev’s wedding. Sian got ready at a beautiful house around the corner from Oldwalls called Seangel. There was plenty of room for Sian, her bridesmaids, flower girls, page boy and other family members to all get ready in one place. Kevin and his groomsmen arrived at Oldwalls early to finish getting ready there.

The weather forecast for the day wasn’t great but luckily it remained dry and bright all day until everyone was inside for the wedding breakfast. Then the heavens opened and it rained throughout the night! There was plenty of room inside for everyone to stay dry and enjoy a drink or two and it definitely didn’t stop the party. We did brave going outside for one romantic shot of Sian & Kevin in the rain though.
Luxury Wedding Venue
At Oldwalls they have the dance floor hidden away from guests until the evening. When the curtains were drawn back, the evening reception kicked off with the cutting of the cake and then the first dance. The dance floor then opened up for everyone else to get stuck in. As always, I stayed for a little while to capture the dance floor fun!
