I love couples booking me for some Cider Mill Barns wedding photography! The venue is perfectly located on the border of Warwickshire and The Cotswolds and is surrounded by beautiful countryside. Cider Mill Barns is a recently converted barn wedding venue that has been sympathetically restored to create a stunning setting for weddings. The staff and owners are great too so you’ll be well looked after!
Countryside Barn Wedding Venue
At Cider Mill Barns they have the Bramley Barn which is a dedicated bridal suite. There is spacious bedroom to get ready in, along with a lounge room with kitchenette for making teas and coffees. They have both indoor and outdoor ceremony spaces. The ceremony room is spacious with oak beams and exposed brickwork and has beautiful window light shining through at the top end of the aisle. Set at the end of a short aisle walk is the Summerhouse. This is contained within the orchard and is a stunning location for outdoor wedding ceremonies. The wedding breakfast room continues with the exposed oak beams and high ceilings and has lovely window light shining through from both sides of the building. And last but not least there’s the all important large bar area between the ceremony and wedding breakfast rooms!

Wedding Photography at Cider Mill Barns
Although my preference is always for capturing people naturally and those precious little moments and interactions between people, it’s always going to help having a stunning venue as a backdrop. There are so many options for couple portraits in the beautiful gardens and if the weather gods are shining down, they have some stunning sunsets at Cider Mill Barns. The orchard with it’s leading lines through the tress is a favourite spot of mine but then the wooden arch structure at the entrance can also be a great location too.
Warwickshire Weddings
Living in Warwickshire I get to photograph a lot of Warwickshire weddings. There are loads of great venues from barn venues to country houses to fields perfect for popping a marque or a tipi on for a more festival style wedding. Also, being so central, Warwickshire is an ideal location if couples have family coming from all over the country. With it’s range from historic market towns and beautiful countryside you can see why so many couples choose to get married here.
