Leamington Couple Portraits – Amy & Matt

We really love them - thank you so much!

Amy & Matt

It was great to take some Leamington couple portraits with Amy and Matt at the start of Autumn. They booked me to photograph their wedding, at the wonderful Blackwell Grange in Warwickshire, next year. As part of their package they chose to have a pre-wedding couple shoot so they could get used to being in front of the camera before the big day.

Pre-wedding shoots are a great way to take away the any worries you might have about being photographed on your wedding day. To be fair, Amy and Matt were naturals in front of the camera, very quickly going from nervous about what to do, to enjoying the experience.

Jephson Gardens

Jephson Gardens is a beautiful park in the centre of Leamington Spa in Warwickshire. There are plenty of nice paths, trees, flowers, and the River Leam running through the middle of it. We chose to go to Jephson Gardens for Amy and Matt’s pre-wedding shoot as it’s such a pretty park offering so much photographic potential in a relatively small space. It’s one of my favourite locations for couple photos!

Leamington Photoshoots

My hometown of Leamington Spa has plenty of great locations for couple photoshoots, both in the town itself and in the surrounding areas of Warwickshire. In the centre there’s Victoria Park, Jephson Gardens, Pump Room Gardens and Newbold Comyn. Then there are a few lovely woodlands nearby which can be great locations for couple portraits too.

Pre-wedding Shoots

Pre-wedding photoshoots offer the opportunity for couples to have their portraits taken in a different location to their wedding and with a more relaxed feel in your everyday cloths. They help couples to feel more relaxed about the thought of having their photo taken on their wedding day, and the opportunity to receive some stunning photos of them without taking without any of the formalities.

If you’d like to book a relaxed couple photoshoot, I’d love to hear from you!
