Emma and Tom’s wonderful Warwickshire wedding saw me back at the beautiful Ettington Park Hotel near Stratford-upon-Avon. It’s a great venue and I knew everyone would be lovely as I’d already met Tom’s family when I shot his sister Hannah’s wedding a couple of years before. I love getting wedding referrals from past clients!
Wedding Photography in Warwickshire
I arrived at Ettington Park Hotel in the morning to shoot Emma and her bridesmaids (and bridesman) getting ready. They have lovely big rooms which is just as well as there were plenty of people in there having their hair done, having their makeup done, drinking Prosecco (non alcoholic for Emma with a baby on the way – exciting!), chatting, laughing… it was a great atmosphere!
Church Wedding
The ceremony was held at the nearby Holy Trinity and St Thomas of Canterbury church in Ettington. After taking some photos of Emma once she was ready, I headed down to the church to wait for her arrival. The ceremony was lovely with plenty of smiling and laughing going on throughout! We did a few family group photos at the church before heading back to Ettington Park Hotel for confetti and the drinks reception.
Wedding Ceilidh
Then it was time for the wedding breakfast which was followed by some great speeches! There might not have been a beautiful sunset but we still made time for some evening portraits of Emma and Tom around the stunning ruins of The Bell Tower. To finish off the formalities of the day, Emma and Tom cut their wedding cake and then went straight into their first dance. Then it was party time, led by the Foot Stompin’ Ceilidh Band – I love shooting ceilidhs!
My favourite way to finish the day is with a few night time couple photos and that’s exactly what I did here!
