“They’re so artistic!!! Bloody hell Alex! You’ve blown our minds!”
Hannah & Adam
After being recommended to Hannah and Adam by another photographer friend of mine, they contacted me saying that whilst they were getting married at conventional and traditional venues, they hoped that their day would soon turn into a big party… and that’s exactly what happened!
Wedding in London
Their wedding was down in the big smoke. Mayfair in London to be precise. I don’t get to photograph too many weddings in London, but I love it when I do! A city wedding has such a different vibe to it than a countryside wedding and I love the creative opportunities and challenges they bring!
Grosvenor Chapel Wedding
The Grosvenor Chapel in Mayfair, London was the setting for Hannah and Adam’s wedding ceremony. The very same stunning Chapel famously seen in the romantic comedy film, Love Actually! There’s a balcony around three sides of the building with an organ situated opposite the altar. It’s a beautifully ornate chapel, nice and light and with plenty of charm.
After their wedding ceremony, Hannah, Adam and their friends and family walked the short distance down the road to the the very grand, Cavalry & Guards Club on Piccadilly where their wedding reception was held.
Documentary Wedding Photography
Hannah and Adam had said that whilst they did want a few family photos and portraits, they wanted most of the day documented and captured candidly, and that’s what they loved about my portfolio. They were just the perfect couple to photograph. As you’ll see from the photos they had THE BEST time and because of that, the photos show just this! So much smiling and laughter and the occasional happy tear too. It was one of those weddings where I’d love to photograph it again and again!
