Oxhill Wedding Photography – Ella & Josh

Waaaaaaaaaaa thank you so much Alex, we love them!

Ella & Josh

So, my first post-COVID wedding gave me the opportunity for some Oxhill Wedding Photography on a warm summer’s day. It was Ella and Josh’s awesome wedding in the Warwickshire countryside! Although the constant government rule changes made having a reception a little uncertain during the run up to the day, by the time their wedding came around, receptions were allowed to happen for up to 30 people. I was so happy for them!

Countryside Ceremony

On the day itself the weather was a bit windier than ideal but it was warm and sunny and the day was full of so much happiness. Their ceremony was at St. Lawrences Church in the South Warwickshire village of Oxhill, located between Stratford-upon-Avon and Banbury. The church had all the social distancing measures in place to keep everyone safe – Ella and Josh even had personalised wedding masks made for their guests to wear. The social distancing didn’t detract in any way from such a lovely and relaxed ceremony with Ella and Josh’s closest friends and family.

Farm Wedding Reception

After the ceremony, confetti was thrown and then Ella and Josh headed off for a little drive in their stunning wedding car… a matt black Rolls-Royce! Their guests went on ahead to the reception, a few miles down the road, at Harrods Farm in Whatcote. There they were joined by Ella and Josh’s gorgeous dog, Bailey! They had a small marque setup and a few beautiful rustic styled trestle tables set up on the grass outside with rolling hills as the perfect backdrop.

Oxhill Wedding

It was sooooo good to be back shooting weddings again after all this time and my first time in Oxhill. This was the perfect wedding for it too – full of happiness, love and laughter!

If you’re planning your wedding in Warwickshire, I’d love to be part of your plans!
