We looked through the photos today and they are just perfect. We are so happy with them, they have turned out better than we could have ever wished for!
Sophie & Graham
Being a Leamington wedding photographer, it’s always nice to have amazing venues like Wethele Manor on your doorstep. It’s just outside Leamington Spa in the Warwickshire countryside and it was the setting for Sophie and Graham’s wonderful summer wedding.
What can I say about Sophie and Graham’s wedding? It was such a lovely day… lovely people, lovely weather, lovely venue… lovely! I’ve been to Wethele Manor a few times to shoot weddings now and each time it’s been a great day.
Outdoor Wedding Ceremony
Sophie and her bridesmaids got ready in the purpose built chalets at Wethele Manor. Graham got ready at home with his groomsmen before heading over to Wethele. Their ceremony was held outside in the courtyard. I may have mentioned this before but I love outdoor ceremonies! They just feel more relaxed and enjoyable occasions.
Wedding at Wethele Manor
After the ceremony, we did a few family photos before everyone went back to the courtyard to enjoy some gin (and maybe some other drinks). There were also lawn games for guests to play, including inflatable Pass the Pigs!
We went for a walk in the nearby fields with Sophie and Graham to take some photos of them before it was time for the wedding breakfast. After some delicious food and some good fun speeches, wedding guests headed back outside to make the most of the perfect summer evening and enjoy the remaining sunshine.
Countryside Summer Wedding
We had a beautiful sunset and made the most out of it with a few more photos of the bride and groom as well as other guests playing games and enjoying drinks outside. Then it was time for the first dance followed by The Mesh Band playing their first set. We finished the night off with a couple of night time shots of Sophie and Graham before leaving them to continue the party.
