Kenilworth Couple Portraits – Milly & Dom

Oh wow!! LOVE them! We’re both grinning from ear to ear.

Milly & Dom

At the start of the year I met with Milly and Dom to take some Kenilworth couple portraits at Crackley Wood in Kenilworth. They bought their dog, Nyah, along with them so inevitably she was involved in plenty of the photos. It was such a fun photoshoot! I’ll be photographing their wedding in Derbyshire this summer and I can’t wait. Nyah will also be making an appearance!

If couples are nervous about having their photo taken on their wedding day, a pre-wedding shoot like this is a great way to get used to being photographed. You can also use the photos on any save the dates or wedding invites. If Milly and Dom were nervous, they certainly didn’t show it!

Kenilworth Photoshoots

There are plenty of good locations for couple photoshoots in Kenilworth, Warwickshire. Abbey Fields, is right in the centre of Kenilworth and, as the name suggests, has plenty of green space and fields. I’ve done a few photoshoots there and it’s always a good location. It’s only a short walk from Kenilworth Castle too. You can walk around the outskirts of the castle and also get some great views from surrounding higher ground. Then of course, there’s Crackley Wood which is a firm favourite of mine.

Crackley Wood

The ancient woodland, Crackley Wood, is a popular local nature reserve in Kenilworth. The woodland is full of grand oak trees, silver birch and also some ash and beech tress too.  May is a particularly beautiful time of year to visit and enjoy the spectacular blankets of bluebells! Alternatively, visiting in the autumn you will be surrounded by vibrant autumnal colours. Even in the winter it’s still a great location for photoshoots.

Couple Shoots

Having a couples photoshoot is a great way to prepare yourself for being in front of the camera on your wedding day. I wouldn’t say it’s needed as all the best photos from your wedding day will likely be those amazing moments where people are just being themselves and not even noticing the camera. However, if you are a bit nervous about having your photo taken, a pre-wedding couple shoot will help you to realise that there isn’t anything to worry about. You’ll also get a great set of images of you and your partner where you’re not in your wedding outfits – bonus!

If you’d like to book a relaxed couple photoshoot, I’d love to hear from you!
