Charlotte & Chris booked me to photograph their wedding back in June 2017. Charlotte first contacted me saying how much she loved my work having looked at loads of other photographer’s work and that she really hoped I was available for her wedding. I wasn’t available for the date she was hoping to book but luckily when they confirmed a different date I was… and I’m so happy I was as it was a beautiful wedding!
The ceremony was held in South Staffordshire at St Chads Church in Pattingham. It’s a lovely little church with a convenient pub, The Pigot Arms, just across the road for Chris and his groomsmen to go for a pre-wedding drink.
I went over to Charlotte’s house / room to take photos of the bride preparations whilst my second shooter, Paul Tansley, went over to hang out with boys as they got ready. The weather was beautiful and sunny all morning… luckily it stayed dry for most of the day too. Just a few drops of rain for good luck just before Charlotte and Chris headed inside for their wedding breakfast.
Their wedding reception was held at the amazing West Midlands wedding venue, The Mill Barns, in Shropshire. They had their drinks reception outside with just enough time for some family group shots and a few couple portraits before the light faded and it was time for some food! Speeches followed before it was time for the first dance. Then their awesome band, Synergy, really got the party started!
