What a year 2019 was – so many amazing weddings and so many awesome couples! It’s around this time of year that I put together a selection of my personal favourite images from last year’s weddings… so here they are! I love going through all these photos and seeing all the happy memories and fun times I’ve documented for my clients! It’s a nice little reminder of why I do this job.
Last year I travelled all over the UK to weddings at some amazing venues I hadn’t previously shot at… The Barns at Lodge Farm in Essex, Oldwalls on the Gower, South Wales, Blackwell Grange and Berry Farm in the Cotswolds, and Talton Lodge and Cider Mill Barns in Warwickshire. I also returned to the wonderful Wethele Manor in Leamington Spa, Lord Leicester Hospital in Warwick, Ettington Park Hotel near Stratford-upon-Avon, and the incredible Shustoke Barn in Warwickshire! As well as these venues, I’ve shot a number of incredible weddings in marquees and tipis throughout the countryside – I love the relaxed feel these weddings always seem to have.
I’ve created a slideshow which gives an overview of my year but all of the images (and more!) are displayed below so you can look through them in your own time.
I would like to say a massive thank you to each and every couple who has booked me, and put their trust in me to shoot such an important day in their lives! I really love my job (it is a job, yeah?) and I’m so grateful to be able to spend my time at such amazing celebrations, documenting all the fun and emotions. This year is set to be another great one – I can’t wait to get started!

WOW Alex, What a superset of images for 2019. I particularly love the black and white image of the flower girl in the church, great moment indeed. Also loving the bumper car image, who wouldn’t want bumper cars at their wedding! Some really special moments captured and your processing is really great and sharp. Look forward to you 2020 roundup.
