It’s that time of year when wedding photographers put together their ‘best of’ blog posts for the previous year… and that’s exactly what I’ve done here! I like to do this, not because it’s the thing to do, but because I love going through all the thousands of photos I’ve taken during the past year and reliving all of those happy memories I’ve documented for my clients.
Each year just keeps getting better and 2018 was definitely my best year yet! Not only did we have an incredible summer when it didn’t seem to rain for months on end, but I also had the pleasure of photographing the weddings of some amazing, fun couples. It’s always such an honour to be asked to be part of each and every one of these special days – I can’t thank each and every one of you enough!
Last year I travelled to weddings in locations from Fairyhill in the Gower to Hengrave Hall in Suffolk. My wedding season started at the fantastic new Warwick wedding venue, The Old Shire Hall. I then returned to Manor by the Lake in Cheltenham for another Cotswolds wedding, Wethele Manor, just outside Leamington Spa in Warwickshire, Lord Leycester Hospital in Warwick and another Midlands venue, Wroxall Abbey. I also shot my first weddings at the stunning Staffordshire wedding venue, The Mill Barns, and the lovely Delbury Hall in Shropshire. Then there were all the countryside and garden weddings in marquees and tipis – I love a good outdoor wedding!
I’ve picked out my some of my personal favourites and created a highlights slideshow above containing one minute and 1 second of happiness! If you’d like to see the individual photos at your own pace, they’re all shown below too.
If you’re getting married in 2019 or 2020 and you’re looking for a wedding photographer, I still have some availability so please get in touch!
