Bina and David’s wedding was the first wedding I shot at Blackwell Grange. It’s a wonderful converted barn venue located on the edge of the Cotswolds and Warwickshire. I’d been really looking forward to this wedding and it certainly didn’t disappoint!
Right from the start of the day, there was a lovely family feel to it with lots of cute children grabbing all the attention. Bina and David were blessed with the weather as it was a lovely warm and sunny day throughout.
My day started with Bina and the girls getting ready at the venue. It was quite busy in there with various family members popping in and out through the morning – the more the merrier! With the ceremony being in the barn just around the corner it was only a short walk away. The ceremony was lovely and filled with plenty of smiles and laughter.
Drinks reception was held outside where there was plenty of room for the children to run around and play games whilst the adults enjoyed a drink or two in the sunshine. When the guests were starting to be called in for the wedding breakfast, we went off for ten minutes of couple portraits in the gardens before returning for the speeches.
At the end of the meal, with the sun setting, we took Bina and David out for a few more photos – golden hour is definitely my favourite time for photos of the bride and groom! Then, after a few more drinks on the terrace, they had their first dance. This was followed by the amazing wedding band, The CoverUps starting their set. What a lovely wedding full of lovely people!
